Adeogun Congratulates Ex- Osun Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on His Appointment as Marine and Blue Economy Minister

….. Says a known prudent Manager of Oyetola’s status is worthy of such a new Office, with the hope that he would devise the needed re-engineering tools to revamp the nation’s maritime sector.

Hon. Prince Albert Abiodun Adeogun has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola on his appointment as the new Marine and Blue Economy Minister by Mr President.

Before his nomination, he Oyetola, was the Governor of Osun State–State of Virtue–in the last political dispensation.

The Ex-Osun State Governor in pictures that had gone viral was spotted with opposition Senators from the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly in what pundits would describe as a kinsmanship gesture immediately after the Ex-Governor’s screening exercise by the Senate in a couple of weeks ago.

Oyetola’s appointment was ratified alongside other ministers-designate barely a couple of weeks ago by the Nigerian Senate. The erstwhile Governor of Osun State then as ratified by Senators in the Red Chamber waited, of course, happily for onward assignment of portfolio by the President and, which eventually materialized.

Reacting to Oyetola’s appointment, Hon Adeogun, a retired Customs Boss who doubles as a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun State has described the appointment as well deserved.

The former Federal Lawmaker added that “Oyetola’s wealth of experience and track record of excellent performance as a Governor will undoubtedly add fillip to ongoing efforts at improving efficiency in the maritime economy; thus, advancing marine trade, tourism and renewable energy.”

” Your Excellency, I celebrate with you , just as I equally wish you success as you mount the rostrum of leadership in this national task that has been committed into your hands. May you receive wisdom to manage the affairs of this ministry with the aim of assisting Mr President to deliver on his Campaign promises in line with the mandate of your office to the masses,” he further added.

The Congratulatory message was concluded as quoted: “Once again, Congratulations Our Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy. Kindly accept my good wishes.”
