AWARD AND RECOGNITION: OSUN ACOMORAN CONFERS TITLE OF PATRONESS ON MRS VICTORIA OLUWASEUN OYEWUSI

SUNDAY HERALDERSTIMES learnt that the intitiator of ONE COMMUNITY ONE INDUSTRY, Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi was accorded a recognition for her roles over the years that culminated in human capacity building. Her humanitarian gestures to the good people of IJESHA ZONE in particular and Osun State as a whole had been meritoriously rewarded.

 

The award or recognition that took place at the ancient city of Ilesha, Osun state was gathered by our correspondent to had been bestowed on her by the AMALGAMATED COMMERCIAL MOTORCYCLE OWNERS & RIDERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (ACOMORAN) carried the title of The Grand Patroness of the Union.

Conferment of the award which was done alongside inauguration of the Newly Elected Executive of the Union had in attendance eminent political figures and religious leaders in the society.

Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi is the intitiator of ONE COMMUNITY INITIATIVE, an organization that specializes in conversion of agricultural wastes into wealth, organic black soap production, coconut oil processing, Shea butter, r efined and spicy locust Beans processing.

 

Speaking with the Ijesha Zonal Chairman of the Union in a short interview, Comrade Sunday Gbadegbesin described the brain behind the One Community Initiative as a rare gem that stands out among her contemporaries in the community.

 

He stressed further that she’s a figure to reckon with in the society, and that her name carries a note of pride by the mere mention of it by both the young and the old. In one of those remarks Sunday Gbadegbesin said: ” While we as a union are very proud of her as a mother for her resourcefulness, unflinching and boundless support, we would also like to use this medium to express our profound appreciation to her husband, Mr Bisi Oyewusi for availing our great union the privilege to accord this honour to his wife.”

 

Later in her remarks, Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi thanked the Leadership of the Union and the organisers of the event for the show of love and hand of fellowship stretched to and the honour they had bestowed upon her and family. She also used the occasion to admonish the newly elected and inaugurated Executive of the Union to be good stewards and abide by the oath of office which they had sworn to.

 

Relatively, she implored every member of the Union to be law abiding — while engaging in their day-to-day activities.
