IJESHA ZONAL CONTRIBUTORY PENSION SCHEME (CPS) TO RECEIVE FREE SKILL ACQUISITION TRAINING COURTESY OF SENATOR FRANCIS ADENIGBA FADAHUNSI

It has been reliably gathered, that on behalf of the Distinguished Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, the senator representing Osun East at the Senate—the Osun retirees under the auspices of Ijesha Zonal Contributory Pension Scheme in the next few days will be duly trained and equipped in some skilled trades.

Sources available has confirmed that the Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, in collaboration with ONE COMMUNITY ONE INDUSTRY INITIATIVES. An Initiatives under the leadership of Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi, a seasoned entrepreneur has been engaged to train the Members of the Contributory Pension scheme in Black Soap production, Coconut Oil Processing, Shea butter Processing, Sanitizer production, locust Beans processing and Branding with Packaging.

Recall that, on the 10th of January 2023, the zonal leaders of the scheme from all the 10 local governments and Area coucil in Osun East had a bilateral discussions with the Distinguished Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi at his Constituency Office at Oke-Omiru in ilesha, Osun state.

Emerging reports of the bilateral discussions, reveal that the senator has promised to actualize all the requests tabled before him by the leaders of the scheme in a staggered fashion— because of time constraint.

In a brief telephone conversation with the Initiator of ONE COMMUNITY INITIATIVES Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi, to confirm this development—whether she has been directed to embark on such training for Members of the Contributory Pension scheme.

In her response, she said ” let me lend credence to the veracity of what you just enquired from me, of course the Distinguished Senator Fadahunsi has engage my organization to commence the skill acquisition training for the Contributory Pension scheme”

” May I also let you know, that the already scheduled training which will commence today 16th till 18th of January 2023, at our branch office in Ireti-Ayo opposite Life Support junction off Ijebu-Jesa road, is expected to cut-across both chapters of the Contributory Pension scheme in Ife and Ijesha zones” She added

Mrs Oyewusi stressed further that those to be expected at her branch office today were members of the Contributory Pension scheme in Ijesha South which includes Ilesha East, Ilesha west, Atakunmosa west and Atakunmosa East local governments, While that of Ijesha North which includes Obokun and Oriade local governments will commence on the 23rd till 25th of January, 2022.

She also maintained that after the completion of the training in Ijesha South and North, members of the public shall be properly briefed with a feasible date for the commencement of similar training in Ife Zone.
