Couple of days ago, It was reliably gathered that Mrs Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi the wife of the Senator representing IFE/IJESHA Senatorial District at the National Assembly, had inaugurated not less than 300 women under the umbrella of her Movement tagged ” MAMA FADA’S WOMEN OF INTEGRITY” at her hometown Ilase-Ijesha.

The HeraldersTimes learnt that the women who attended the inauguration ceremony in their full regalia of WHITE & GOLD headgear, were selected from the 10 local governments and Area Office in the District.

The welcome address of the leader of the movement, Mrs Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi made available to our correspondent that covered the event has as its theme the role of women in politics with emphasis on the re-election of Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi.

Later while speaking in an interview with a renowned industrialist who doubled as the convener of the group Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi, charged the women to emulate what was contained in words of admonishment the leader of their movement had earlier given in the opening address, and that they should further etch and inculcate those words into their various communities.

She stressed further that the women should endeavor to deliver in relation to the core mandate on which the movement was birthed into reality. She went on to assure the women that in less than two months that Mrs Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi with the support of her husband Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi will have the 300 women duly empowered as well as dole out incentives to members that show unrelenting effort towards the re-election of the Senator.

In the course of the event, the Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi who graced the occasion of the inauguration with his entourage in his remark emphasized the need for the women to support his Party, People’s Democratic Party and vote for all candidates of the party starting from the governorship election, Presidential to National Assembly elections. He implored the women to never join the league of women that turn deaf ears to the will and wise counsel of their husbands.

” The roles of women in politics is cannot be over-emphazised, following their increase in numeric ratio. Without mincing words, I must say anyone aspiring for an elective position that refuses to accord women in politics their due attention is doing it at his own peril. I want to assure you all that your interest will be prioritized, as efforts are in place to accommodate you all in the next phase of our empowerment,” the Senator counselled.

Mrs Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi, in her closing remark thanked all the members of the integritous women for heeding to the clarion call towards the re-election bid of her husband.
