JUST IN: OSUN PDP GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATES: COURT ADJOURNS RULING
The reports reaching the HERALDERTIMES desk has it— that the Federal High Court sitting at osogbo in its proceedings earlier today, has adjourned its judgement, in a suit brought before it by, Omooba Dotun Babayemi against sen: Ademola Adeleke, PDP & INEC.
Recall, that the intra- party leadership tussle in the osun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has produced two gubernatorial candidates for the party. While, the plantiff, Dotun Babayemi is relying on the pronouncement of the court of competent jurisdiction, that subsists— as the validly elected candidate of the party. Where
as, sen Ademola Adeleke is relying on the supports and backing of the NWC of the party as the validly elected candidate of Osun PDP.
However, Today, the Federal High Court sitting at osogbo with the requisite jurisdiction has predicated in the amended electoral Acts 2022, has adjourned its judgement for 18th of May 2022.
