JUST IN: PDP Suspends BOT Chairman, Adolphus Wabara
The report reaching the HERALDERSTIMES NEWS DESK has it that Senator Adolphus Wabara, the Board of Trustees (BOT) chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been suspended by his ward in Abia State over alleged anti-party activities.
HERALDERSTIMES gathered that Wabara was suspended by the State Working Committee, SWC, of the party in Abia State.
The decision, according to a party source, was taken during a meeting presided over by the State Chairman, Abraham Amah.
This is believed to be a continuation of the power play between loyalists of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and the PDP former presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Wike’s man and former governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has firm control of the Abia PDP.
