JUST IN: SUPREME COURT RULES ON EBONYI PDP GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE DISPUTE 3PM.
Sources available at the apex court of the land, had earlier today confirmed to the HERALDERSTIMES that — there is possibly indication for the Supreme Court to deliver its judgement 3pm today Wednesday on the dispute over who is the authentic governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State for next year’s election, in the face of the law.
The court is to decide between Chukwuma Odii Ifeanyi and Senator Joseph Obinna Ogba who should contest the governorship seat on the PDP platform in 2023.
A five-member panel, headed by Justice Amina Augie, announced on Wednesday that the judgment would be rendered by 3pm today after entertaining final submissions from lawyers to parties in the appeal marked: SC/CV/ 939/2022 filed by Ifeanyi.
