In a renewed commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across Nigeria, Mr MEE Cares Foundation has extended humanitarian relief to internally displaced persons at the IDP Camp in Games Village, Kaura District, Abuja.
SUNDAY HERALDERSTIMES, learnt that the said outreach held on 22nd November 2025, thereby putting smiles on the faces of over 200 beneficiaries; providing essential items such as 300 sanitary pads, more than 1000 solar lamps, toiletries, clothes, and shoes.
The exercise, tagged “Dignity for Her”, was carried out in partnership with African Energy Advocacy Initiative (AEAI), Gil’Gal Foundation for the Aged, and The Extraordinary Housewife Academy. The Founder of the Foundation, Mr. Mbasekoi Emmanuel Eni, popularly known as Mr MEE, led the team of trustees and 12 volunteers during the distribution.
Speaking during the event, Mr MEE stated that the outreach was part of the Foundation’s vision to restore dignity, provide hope, and ensure that vulnerable Nigerians are not forgotten.
“Mr MEE Cares Foundation operates with clear humanitarian objectives, including:
Supporting vulnerable families with relief materials and essential supplies
Promoting menstrual hygiene for young girls and women
Advancing community welfare through health, education, and empowerment initiatives
Creating sustainable interventions for marginalized and underserved groups
Advocating for improved living conditions in deprived communities”
According to the Founder, the Foundation will continue to expand its reach across the country, focusing on practical solutions that directly improve daily living.
“Our mission is simple: to restore dignity, to give hope, and to ensure that vulnerable Nigerians—especially displaced women and children—have access to the basics they truly need,” Mr MEE said. “We are committed to making these outreaches consistent, not one-off efforts.”
Residents of the IDP camp expressed excitement and appreciation, particularly for the sanitary pads and solar lamps, which they described as “life-changing.” Many noted that access to menstrual hygiene products and stable lighting remains a major challenge.
One of the beneficiaries at the camp who spoke with our correspondent said: “These pads will help our daughters a lot, and the solar lamps will make nighttime easier. We beg that this kind of support continues.”
Despite logistical constraints and limited resources, the Foundation successfully delivered relief materials to the camp. The turnout exceeded expectations, further highlighting the growing needs of displaced families in the FCT.
The event also showcased the power of collaboration among NGOs. The Foundation reiterated its openness to working with individuals, corporate bodies, and development partners interested in supporting humanitarian causes.
Mr MEE emphasized that improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians is his life’s mission:
“This work is not just charity; it is a responsibility. Every Nigerian deserves dignity, opportunity, and care. As long as God gives us strength, we will keep showing up for communities who need us the most.”
Mr MEE Cares Foundation is a Nigerian humanitarian organization dedicated to providing relief, support, and empowerment to vulnerable and less privileged groups across the country. Through food outreach programs, health and hygiene interventions, educational support, and community empowerment, the Foundation continues to make measurable impact nationwide.
