Osun Attorney General Hon. Wole Jimi-Bada Appoints Seun Arewa as Special Adviser

It has been reliably gathered that the Osun State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Honourable Wole Jimi-Bada has just appointed Mr Seun Olamiposi Arewa his Special Adviser on Political Matters.

The presentation of Letter of Appointment was done yesterday by the Attorney General himself at the Ministry of Justice, Abere Government House, at the State Capital Osogbo.

The appointee, Mr Seun Arewa and his wife Mrs Aramide Mosumoluwa Arewa were accompanied to the Osun State Ministry of Justice by friends, well-wishers and political associates.

It was also reported by the HeraldersTimes correspondent that covered the event, that the Osun State SUBEB Chairman in the person of Honourable Ibukun Oloka, and one of the Members of Osun State House of Assembly representing Ife Central, Honourable Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye were at the presentation of Letter of Appointment to Mr Seun Arewa— which was presented by Honourable Wole Jimi-Bada.

The Attorney General Honourable Wole Jimi-bada, in his remarks was quoted as saying, ” I have known Mr Seun Arewa for years, and for months now that he has been very close to me; without mincing words he has passed the integrity test. Mr Arewa is very reliable and dependable. If he tells you go and sleep on any assignments given to him. It’s as good as heave a sigh of relief, and go to bed. As such, I find him worthy of this appointment and worthy to work closely with me in the Ministry of Justice.

“As you could see from the appointment letter, his appointment though midwived by me has the endorsement of Governor Ademola Adeleke,” Hon. Bada added

The Attorney General further established during his remarks, that as it stands since his assumption of Office, he has appointed five people from Ile-Ife to work with him, and with the hope that more will be brought on board in due course.

Mr Seun Arewa, in his acceptance speech returned all the glory to God Almighty for the gift of life. He thanked his wife for her unconditional support and ceaseless prayers—praying without season.

“To my Boss, Honourable Wole Jimi-Bada, I’m very grateful for this show of love. I’m highly indebted to you for this great reckoning. Surefootedly, ever since our path crossed; I know you are God Sent to me. I promise my unalloyed loyalty to you and your cause.”

He continued in his speech as saying, “Boss, I want to say today that for no reasons will I betray you nor the confidence you have reposed in me which has thus far brought about this appointment.”

Speaking shortly with our Correspondent in an interview immediately after the event was Honourable Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye, MHA representing Ife Central Constituency. Hon. Awoyeye was asked for his views on Mr Seun Arewa’s appointment.

In his response, Hon Awoyeye said, “My Egbon, Comrade Seun Arewa is a known grassroot mobilizer within Ife and its environs. It gladens my heart to have heard about his appointment, as the Special Adviser to the Attorney General on Political Matters. From what I know of him, he’s a resourceful person, vibrant, energetic, non-conformist, dogged, very trustworthy, and astute politician. This appointment is a good one, and it comes at the right time.”

“He is one of those I tapped from their wealth of experiences when I joined partisan politics. And likewise, when I was campaigning for the position I occupied today as a Member of the Osun State House of Assembly. I must say this appointment is well deserved and very timely” Hon.Awoyeye eloquently submitted.
