Recall, that the women group was inaugurated barely six months ago, and chief among its mandates is to galvanize, Mobilize and canvass votes for the re-election bids of the People’s senator, Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi.
Remarkably, Since the inception of the women group, the group activities within the nooks and cranny’s of Osun East had gained more traction, as observers had lay credence to its unique geometric workforce coupled with the rate at which the group had being reaching out to the general public in a fashion similar to the spreading of the bush fire of the harmattan, winning scores of artisans, market women, opposition Members and community dwellers into its fold.
The meeting Which was presided over by the Founder Chief (Mrs) Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi and anchored by the convener Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi, was aimed at re-assessing, reevaluating the activities of the group in the last six months. While the interactive section was also geared to have a clue of the challenge(s) if any, being encountered in any of the local governments which were expected to be brought to the fore for deliberation and possible solution, in order to forestall whatever might clogged the wheel of progress of the group in the future, as the election bell rings.
The Meeting held yesterday 8th January, 2023 at Ilase-Ijesha had in attendance the founder of the group Chief (Mrs) Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, the Convener of the Movement Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi, Hon: Sanya Omirin, Hon: Oloka, Hon: Seyi Ajakaye the Security Adviser of the group and all Local governments coordinators under the umbrella of the group across Osun East Senatorial district.
The women group in its bid to show their unalloyed loyalty and support to the Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi cause, has been directed by the convener Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi, to mobilize 100 members from each of the local governments in Osun East to the official campaign flag-off of the senator, which is expected to take place in Ilesha on Wednesday 11th January, 2023.m
It’s also imperative to say that after the interactive section with the group, the Distinguished Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi gave accent to all the demands submitted by the group, as he immediately role out machinery to address the full implementation of those demands that are visibly time- dependent.
