The HERALDERSTIMES reliably gathered that the Senator representing IFE IJESHA Senatorial District at the Senate, Distinguished Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi has further extended his good gesture to some selected members of MFWI, as part of his non-legislative duty to his constituents.

Recall that, HERALDERSTIMES had earlier reported couple of months ago that Senator Fadahunsi had given his words to the Integritous Women on their inauguration day, that all their interest would be prioritized as effort was in place to accommodate them in the next phase of empowerment.

Now, most glaringly, the first batch of the empowerment had taken place at Ibokun in Obokun Local Government of Osun State, which though not the last would invariably serve as a testament that the Senator is walking the talks. This is a virtue that should be inculcated by every elected office holders.

Later, the founder of the women group Mrs Victoria ADEOLA FADAHUNSI, who spoke with our correspondent via a phone conversation confirmed that the equipment doled out to the women was part of efforts the people’s Senator had made to fulfill his promises to the Integritous Women.

In that vein, she used the medium to convey her heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Senator to the league of women who were selected from the four Local Governments that benefited in the first batch of the empowerment programme. She maintained further that in as much as the women remain resolute towards flying the flag for the re-election bid of the Senator that none of their labour would go unrewarded.

” I’m grateful for the show of love being displayed to me and my husband from outset till now, and which I believe would continue. I implore you all to continue to be steadfast and committed to this cause, which is to proclaim the good gospel of the Senator to the residents and inhabitants of Osun East,” Mrs Victoria Adeola further enjoined.

MFWI is an acronym which implies, MAMA FADA WOMEN OF INTEGRITY— a socio-political movement founded and nurtured by the wife of the Senator. The group has gained traction while serving as a forerunner with the mandate to canvass and mobilize massively towards the actualization of the Senator’s re-lection into the Red Chamber. The women group comprising some 300 women when it was inaugurated couple of months ago as learnt today has increased in a geometric fashion such that it boasts a total population of one thousand five hundred when considered on the average terms, and this across the nook and cranny of Osun East.

Speaking with the convener of the movement Mrs Victoria Oluwaseun Oyewusi who doubles as the founder of a non-governmental organization named “LET’S SHARE IT,” she presented to this news channel a well, concise and evidential statistics which went a long way to corroborate the above-mentioned number of women under her leadership.

In her remarks, Mrs Oyewusi charged the women to be focused in their unflinching supports in other to be an instrument of great value towards the re-election bid of the Senator.

Speaking further in the interview before those materials were doled out to the women Mrs Oyewusi said, ” Mrs Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi in conjunction with the office of the Senator has provided agricultural equipment such as tenths of urea fertilizer, herbicides, knapsack sprayer and hundreds of improved cocoa seedlings. As you can see, other items we have here include hair dryers, sanitizer machine, sewing machines and Grinding machines with gasoline-powered engines. This would be distributed to the women who have been selected from four Local Governments out of the ten Local Governments that made up Osun East. The Local Governments are ORIADE, IFE CENTRAL, ILESHA WEST AND IFE NORTH. Other Local Governments shall be communicated soon, which of course would be when the time is ripe. Thank you!”

After the distribution, our correspondents who were on ground to air the programme went further to feel the pulse of the women. And they reported that the women beaming with cheerful smile on their faces unanimously thanked their leader Mrs Victoria Adeola Fadahunsi for all her motherly admonition— and For the possibility of midwiving the idea of the items distributed to them. They also extolled Senator Francis Fadahunsi and this they did in thunderous chorus that culminated in the saying that his second term as a Senator is non-negotiable.
